On December 29, the 2023 Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy was successfully held in Xiamen. The forum was hosted by the Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics, School of Economics, and Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics, Xiamen University and Fujian Digital Economy Alliance, and co-organized by the Basic Science Center for Econometric Modeling and Economic Policy Studies, National Natural Science Foundation of China.
The forum brought together outstanding scholars from the fields of artificial intelligence, economics, management, finance, statistics, data science and big data technology to explore how to better utilize the artificial intelligence technology to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy. The forum featured keynote speeches by Professor Shouyang Wang, joint director of the Basic Science Center for Econometric Modeling and Economic Policy Studies, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Professor Xiaoguang Yang, a researcher at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Several renowned scholars also delivered invited lectures during the forum.
